Terms of Service

Last updated: May 22, 2026 · Effective immediately

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using OmniPlot ("Service," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using any part of the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who May Use OmniPlot

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements. Use of OmniPlot for commercial purposes (e.g., a PPF or window tint installation business) is explicitly permitted and is the intended use case.

2. Accounts and Security

You may sign in with Google, a passwordless email link, or a phone number verified by SMS. No password is stored by OmniPlot. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the authentication methods linked to your account (your email inbox, phone number, or Google account).

One active session per account. OmniPlot enforces a single active session at a time. If your account is opened on a second device, the prior session is immediately invalidated and signed out. This is a security feature, not a bug — do not share your sign-in credentials with others. Shop members each have their own account; the single-session limit applies per account, not per shop.

You agree to notify us immediately via our support page if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Individual plans. OmniPlot offers a Free tier (1 cut per 30 days, no credit card required), Lite ($29/mo or $24/mo billed annually), and Pro ($79/mo or $66/mo billed annually). Paid plans provide increased cut limits, additional export formats, and other features as described on the Pricing page.

Shop/Team plans. Shops can subscribe to Starter (3 seats, $149/mo), Team (10 seats, $299/mo), or Studio (25 seats, $499/mo) plans. Annual billing saves approximately 20%. Shop plans cover all seats under one subscription; each seat is a named individual account.

Billing. All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You can update your payment method, change plans, or cancel at any time via Settings → Billing → Manage billing (Stripe Customer Portal).

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Access to paid features continues through the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to Free. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.

Plan changes. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next renewal. OmniPlot reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to subscribers.

4. What Counts as a Cut

A "cut" is counted when you export a PLT/HPGL file for your plotter or trigger a direct plotter job from the studio. Saving drafts, browsing the pattern library, editing jobs, or exporting to SVG/DXF for reference purposes does not consume a cut.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or bulk-download the pattern library
  • Share your account credentials or session access with other users (use Shop plans for multi-user access)
  • Use the Service to infringe any third party's intellectual property rights
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use automated means to access the Service beyond normal use
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

Our content. The OmniPlot application, user interface, and all vehicle patterns in the OmniPlot library are our intellectual property or that of our licensors. The pattern library is provided for use solely within the Service. Bulk downloading or redistribution of patterns is prohibited.

Your content. You retain ownership of cut job files, custom SVG patterns you upload, and other content you create using the Service. By uploading custom patterns you grant us a limited license to store and serve that content to you. We do not claim ownership of your work.

Exports. Files you export (PLT, SVG, DXF, PDF) are yours. Use them with any compatible hardware or software.

7. Teams and Invitations

Shop owners and managers may generate invite links (valid for 7 days) to add team members. Each invited person creates their own account and is subject to these Terms. The shop owner is responsible for ensuring all members comply with these Terms and is responsible for charges arising from seat usage under the shop subscription.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that patterns will produce perfect results on all vehicles and plotters. Pattern accuracy, cutting results, and material waste are dependent on your specific plotter settings, blade condition, and material — factors outside our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OmniPlot's total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) $100 USD. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will make reasonable efforts to notify subscribers of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days in advance.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Job history may be retained for up to 90 days after termination and then permanently deleted.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which OmniPlot is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property claims.
